Short Term Course : DEPARTMENT OF CSE IIT ROORKEE UTTARAKHAND INDIA 247667

About

The objective of this course is to train faculty members in the broad area of Information Security along with recent advancements and challenges. The course will mainly cover following topics: ? Symmetric ciphers and cryptographic Boolean functions ? Analysis of symmetric ciphers ? Intrusion detection and prevention ? Phishing and securing online transactions ? Malwares and Botnets ? Cloud security ? Introduction to quantum cryptography.

Faculty members from participating institutes (PIs) of Information Security Education and Awareness Project Phase-II are eligible to attend. The duly filled form recommended by competent authority need to be sent as early as possible latest by 5th December 2016. There is no registration fee and IIT Roorkee will provide local hospitality. TA can be borne from ISEA project of your institute.

Note: Participants are requested to download the brochure and send the filled and approved form (by the principal investigator ISEA project at your institute) either via email (scanned copy) or via post to the event coordinator (Dr. Sandeep Kumar Garg).
